All The NEWS That’s Fit To Print:
  • Once again we welcome members of the St Gabriel’s Old Girls’ Union to join us in worship today.
  • The Annual General Meeting of Parishioners today is a potent reminder of the dedicated service and care extended to us by our Relieving Rector, Bishop Rob Forsyth, during the past year and a bit.
  • Our gardener, Martin Hamblin, has been hard at work preparing the area adjacent to the car parking spaces for the addition of picnic tables and seats for our Ministry of Hospitality to our regular worshippers and also those attending funerals, weddings and baptisms.
  • Repairs to the organ are taking a little longer than first anticipated. An expensive relay needs to be replaced. The organ could be repaired without the replacement but this could void the warranty on our blower motor which you may recall was replaced a couple of years ago at a cost of $12,000.00
  • We congratulate Very Reverend Andrew Semple, Dean of Bathurst on his appointment as rector of St.James King Street.
  • Still at St.James, they are advertising a Position Vacant for a Head Verger — details at: www.sjks.org.au
  • Don’t forget to check out our Easter Services sheet to keep track of events over the coming weeks.
